I’m really excited to be sharing my top 5 under $5 — these are products that are so good, they rival or exceed my love for highend alternatives. You can’t go wrong with any of these products, I highly recommend them all! Keep reading to find out what products are SO good you…almost can’t believe they’re less than $5.
Top 5 Under $5
I did a video for this on my Youtube channel, so if you want to get the scoop and more in-depth opinion on all these products that I’m going to mention in this post…watch my video below! I’m also collaborating with a Youtuber friend of mine as well, so if you want to see even MORE products that are fantastic and under $5…watch my video below to find a link to her channel.
Retail Price: $4.49
These are gems! Especially if you are just getting into makeup, I think it’s fantastic that you can go into a local Ulta and swatch all the shades and determine what shades you would get the most use out of. I never had any issues blending these, the pigmentation was great…and they’re all around pretty bomb eyeshadows!
Some shades are under $5 at Target
So I feel really horrible about this…but when I was picking out products I typed in “NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in Zurich” into google and Target popped up as having it for sale for $4.49. Perfect! I immediately put it on my list and went on my merry way and recorded my video. Well…when I sat down to put this video and post together…I discovered that not ALL NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are under $5 at Target…and they don’t even retail under $5 at Ulta (which is where I usually look for pricings). I am SO sorry for my oversight! I go into detail in my video on why I like and recommend these…but I felt so bad I went back into my collection and found another product that IS under $5 that I can also recommend. And that product is…
Retail Price: $0.99
So here’s the replacement, since the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are NOT under $5 retail. These Wet n Wild single eyeshadows are fantastic! I am a big fan of Creme Brulee (now just ‘Brulee” after the reformulation) and I enjoy having a nice, pigmented black in my magnetic palette of depotted eyeshadows. Just like with the NYX single eyeshadows, these blend like a dream and are beautifully pigmented. I HIGHLY recommend and don’t think you can go wrong with these matte shades. I just wished Wet n Wild would expand their line of single eyeshadows!
Retail Price: $3.99
This has quickly become my favorite powder to set my under eyes that is at the drugstore! It’s so fine and blends in beautifully, I really enjoy the results I get from this baby. And it’s so affordable!
Retail Price: $3.99
These eyeliners are pretty budge proof, especially when I wear them in my waterline. They are also very pigmented and creamy, so take no work to apply and see the color that you want. If you have watery eyes and want an affordable gel liner…these are it!
Retail Price: $4.99
These lipsticks are so creamy and pigmented and feel very comfortable on the lips. If you are wanting to update your collection with some fun and bright colors for this spring…you can do it and not break the bank with these gems!
I know I messed up with the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams…but I hope you will forgive the oversight! And there were still 5 products that I mentioned in this blog post today. And if you want to hear about another one (because who doesn’t love GOOD and AFFORDABLE makeup?!), watch my Youtube video (above) to the end to see an honorable mention. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed hearing about what products I love and recommend that are under $5.
Let me know if any of these products are favorites of yours! Or, if you haven’t tried any of these…what product do you love that is under $5? I am always down to trying something new!
