I reached the end of my Finish 7 By Spring challenge and I’m here to share the results! This ended back on March 21st, but I am just now able to post about it. I’ve been looking forward to sharing my experience with this challenge — it was definitely harder than I had anticipated (as I’m sure you can guess from the NYX blush there, haha!) But let’s jump in and see how I did with all the different products and whether I would repurchase them or not.
Feel free to click to my original post when I began the challenge to see where I started from and to give you a better idea of how much I was able to use up in about 3 months.
Finish 7 By Spring Results
The first product I was able to finish off was this Rimmel powder. I had already hit major pan on it — as you know — when I began this challenge so wasn’t concerned at all about getting through this one. I really like this as a light, translucent setting powder all over my face and already have a back up ready to go. 🙂
This was actually a lot harder to use up than I had anticipated. I said in my original post I had about 1/3 of the product left and since it’s a pore-filling primer I only use it on the apples of my cheeks. So, because of this, you don’t need a lot of product and even though I used this every day once I started this challenge, I think I finished it only a few days before the first day of spring. Came in right under the wire! Would I repurchase? No, I didn’t enjoy the feel of this type of pore-filling primer as much as I had anticipated. But I finished it! That’s what counts here! 😉
I wish I had taken a picture of this when I started the challenge, but I hadn’t hit pan yet. So I made a LOT of headway with this one, and just barely missed finishing it off. There’s just a thin layer all around the sides that I have to use up now. If you want to know when I do finally finish it, follow me on Snapchat or Facebook — I’ll share the news there. 🙂 This is already my second jar of this product, so yes of course I will repurchase, It’s my holy grail!
I was surprised and disappointed that I wasn’t able to finish this powder up, but oh well. I had just hit pan on it when I started, so I made a lot of headway. This was just a lot deeper than I had anticipated. While it’s a great powder, I don’t have plans to repurchase anytime soon. I have a lot in my drawer to go through and I didn’t find this super life-changing.
As you can see (I hope) this foundation bottle is completely used up! I unscrewed it and drained the last of the contents from it. I’ve long been a fan of this foundation. It gives a lot of coverage, but still allows for a natural finish. I am not going to repurchase in the near future, because I have SO many foundations that I am currently using, but I will buy it again. 🙂
So, halfway through the challenge I stopped trying to finish the light pink side of this lipstick. It just didn’t look good on my, I felt, and I was only wearing it around the house — so I could finish it up, lol. So I just focused on the nude pink end and was able to finish it easily. I plan to give this tube to my younger sisters to use the other side. 🙂 I don’t plan to repurchase either shade — I have another Bite Beauty nude shade I am totally loving at the moment.
Ah, now we come to the most frustrating product that I tried to finish in this Finish 7 By Spring! I promise, I used this every day but still couldn’t finish it off. I couldn’t even hit pan! And I’ve owned and used this a LOT for at least two years. It’s like the blush that cannot die, haha! I am pretty sure this color/line is discontinued, so I won’t be repurchasing it, but whenever I DO finish it, I plan to purchase another NYX blush. 🙂
And there you have it! I was able to completely use 4 products, nearly done with 2, and am taking a break from the last product for a while before I pull it back out to try to use up. I just need something different for a while!
Not as good as I had hoped for this 7 by spring challenge — I wanted to finish everything — but I finished some, which is better than none! Have you finished any beauty products recently?
I purchased all products on my own. I was not compensated for writing this post. All thoughts are 100% my own. Any questions about my disclosure, read here. Thank you for your support!
