Towards the end of 2017 I was inspired to take my entire makeup collection and put it through a decluttering process. My collection was bursting from the drawers and I knew there were a lot of products I just kept skipping over. What better time to declutter, right?
In the fall of last year Smashbox Cosmetics launched their well rounded brush line of 30 different types of brushes…and you know this makeup brush-loving girl got excited! I spent a while testing them all out and deciding my feelings/thoughts on them…and I’m ready to share it with you all! Plus, I’ve also gone through my makeup collection to see if there are any cheaper alternatives I can recommend instead of these Smashbox makeup brushes! Let’s get right to it!
I’m really excited to be sharing my top 5 under $5 — these are products that are so good, they rival or exceed my love for highend alternatives. You can’t go wrong with any of these products, I highly recommend them all! Keep reading to find out what products are SO good you…almost can’t believe they’re less than $5.
It’s time to battle these two palettes out! Have you heard about Deck of Scarlet? It’s a beauty subscription service that sends you one palette every two months for only $29.95. Sounds kinda magical, right? The eyeshadow palette addict in me says yes! But can a bi-monthly palette subscription service give you the quality we expect and love from our favorite brands? I put it to the test and have my thoughts to share with you!
It’s been a while since Too Faced came out with a new addition to their Chocolate Bar collection — the Chocolate Bon Bons came out end of 2015/beginning of 2016. And this new release is absolutely stunning. Unlike all three of their previous palettes, the Too Faced Chocolate Gold palette is SO eye catching! Ready to see some swatches?
I know I am VERY late in getting my Best of Beauty 2017 post together…but better late than never, right? I was very picky with the products that I wanted to choose as my best in beauty. These are the makeup products that I’ve been reaching for ever since discovering them and just can’t seem to put down, even though new products are constantly being release. Curious to see why they stood out to me? 🙂
