The buzz surrounding the new formulation and addition of matte shades in Wet n Wild’s popular Color Icon line hit an all-time high when we saw their Rosé in the Air palette. Last year the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette basically revolutionized the beauty community for it’s fantastic formula and warm-toned reds and oranges, so of course everyone immediately saw the similarities between these palettes. And considering the price difference, everyone has been asking….”is it a dupe for Modern Renaissance??” Well, let’s dive into the nitty-gritty!
I’ve heard about Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm for a while, but never got around to trying it. Then when IT Cosmetics sent me their new Bye Bye Makeup Cleansing Balm — and fell absolutely in love — I knew I had to get the Clinique one and compare them. So I did just that…can you guess which one was better?
It’s been a hot minute since we’ve had a good dupe or dud here, and this one actually dropped in my lap on it’s own. Pixi Beauty recently collaborated with 4 Youtubers and I was generously sent all the products to try out. When I was trying the Glow-y powder in Santorini Sunset I realized it reminded me of my beloved (and holy grail!) LORAC Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in Daylight. So of course I had to share and dupe it out with you guys!
Time for another Dupe or Dud showdown! Today we’re going to see if Makeup Revolution’s Iconic Pro 1 palette is a dupe for the LORAC PRO palette (which just happens to be a long time favorite of mine). The Iconic Pro palette had it’s work cut out for itself trying to prove to me that it was just as good my LORAC. Did it succeed?? 🙂
It’s been a while since I shared my last Dupe or Dud? post, but when these Maybelline Color Jolts were released looking so similar to the popular Too Faced Melted liquid lipsticks…I knew I just had to put it to the test! Specifically my holy grail, Melted Chihuahua, against the shade Stripped Down. I saw a picture on Instagram that made them look identical! But are they really…
It’s been so long since I’ve shared a “Dupe or Dud” post, but today I finally have two products to share with you that appear very similar….but are they really?? Let’s find out! Something unique about today’s post is that they’re both from the drugstore! Ready to see if e.l.f.’s smudge pot is a dupe or dud for a cult-favorite shade from Maybelline’s Color Tattoo pots?
It’s been a while since I posted my first “Dupe or Dud” post, but I’m bringing it back today. If you didn’t read that one, go check it out and see how you can save $17 on a dupe! 😉 Today we’re looking at products from LORAC and Physicians Formula.
I’ve been a BIG fan of the LORAC liner ever since it was sent to me, which is obvious since I’ve repurchased it twice since then. You can read my original review for this liner HERE, but for those of you who have, you know I love it and have been wanting to find a cheaper dupe for this LORAC line. Ready to see if I did?
