Looking back over this past month (February 2012)

Posted by Katie Garvin at 5:00 AM
Before we get into today's end of the month post, I have a little surprise winner to announce. Remember the Follower Love Giveaway Hop I did on my blog a few weeks back? Well, the original winner never contacted me to claim her prize. So! I have selected a new winner to receive a PaperBackSwap credit (worth one book). And that person is....

* Velvet Hubler *

Congratulations, Velvet! I will be sending you an email this afternoon. Remember, winners have one week to respond to my initial email in order to claim their prize.

And now! On with today's post. As you all know, it's time for my "Month in Review" post. I got the idea from Crystal over at Just Another Book Lovin' Girl and she--very sweetly--said I could join her in this monthly post. Let's begin!

Follower Love Giveaway Hop. It was a blast, with a swell turn out. The prize? A book credit for PaperBackSwap! :-)
- As promised, I did a character interview this month with the characters from Frantic--Marny and Esther. It was really lots of fun! If you missed it, no worries, you can still stop by and read it.
- I posted another update for the Contentment Reading Challenge for the month of February. If you're participating in this giveaway, be SURE to stop by there sometime soon. I am giving away a book to one of the people who comment with their progress so far! :-)

Favorite Book of the Month:
This is easy! While there were lots of good books I read this month, one stands out above all the rest. Words Spoken True by Ann Gabhart! It's sitting on my favorites shelf right now! :-)

Well, there you have it. That's what took place for me (book-wise) for the month of December. How about you? What books did you read this month?

Wow, you were quite busy, Katie! Keep up the good work.

I wish I were such a fast reader. I used to be in my teens and twenties, then my eyes got too tired, I think.

T. Forehand - Oh, cool! Yeah, there were several great books this past month!

Mayra - Haha, thank you! I always try to have a book near at hand for whenever I have a spare moment...and then I am a notorious night owl and frequently stay up into the wee hours reading. :-)
